San Francisco Once Again

Charlie and I have been fortunate to have friends who grew up in San Francisco and have treated us to afternoons of urban hiking and educating us on some great places to eat or visit. We learned quite a bit on our own scouring the travel books, but there is nothing like having the locals share their magnificent city and hearing the stories of their childhood. This painting includes the Ferry Building, Coit Tower, the Transamerica Building, kites flying at the Marina Green, tunnels, bridges and of course, San Francisco Bay and the mighty Pacific Ocean.
