Australia's birds have such personality! The Ibis plodded along like an old man and would come up to you in hopes of getting any morsel you might want to throw his way. What a moocher! But I loved them...this is a small colored pencil study I did on the plane home. I've recently built a larger canvas and now trying to paint them at the studio.

I've been away for much of November, but haven't stopped painting. We went to New Zealand and to Sydney. Great places and wonderful people! We took the ferry over to Manley from Sydney and then walked over to Shelley Beach. I found a little out of the way place to try to capture all the people out enjoying the sun.
